How the hints work
Each word has four steps: the number of vowels and whether a letter repeats, then the first letter, then the last letter, and finally the word itself. Open them one at a time to keep the fun of solving. The words belong to the Daily mode on this site: open the game with the button above or switch it to Daily mode, and you get the same eight boards in the same order.

Are these the answers to the official Octordle?
No. These hints are for the Daily mode puzzle on octordly.org. The official Octordle by Merriam-Webster uses different words – its answers are on a separate page linked at the bottom of the site.
When does a new daily puzzle start?
At midnight on your device. The page always shows the puzzle for your local date. If you changed the word length in the game settings, pick the same length above.
